Alp Assist Vélo is owned and run by Graeme Hawick. Graeme has been around bikes all his life. A love of the outdoors in his native Scotland led to a career as an outdoor activities instructor, which was naturally followed by running his own outdoor activity centre based at Loch Lomond. With a fleet of over 70 bikes to look after, Graeme obtained the nationally recognised ‘Cytech’ bike maintenance qualification, and was responsible for all health and safety and staff training in relation to the bikes and other company kit.

Since arriving in France he has developed his passion for cycling, and explored France guiding leisure cycling holidays for foreign tourists.

He describes himself not as a cyclist, but as a lover of all things cycling.

His previous experience has led naturally to his latest venture – Alp Assist Vélo – at your assistance with any bike related problems or questions!
